|---|---|---|---|
||
In principle all software comes from CSC (or CentOS) repository. This is good idea in the sense that all FGCI clusters have the same software available.
It is bad idea in the sense that somebody at CSC needs to create the installation package for such a non-standard software and the practice has
shown that they don't have time to serve cluster users (us) immediately, if ever.
||
Anyway, to request software there are two options:
||
1. Preferred method:
2 | Timo Eronen | *Register* and *Sign-in* to https://p55cc-redmine.utu.fi and in "User's page" create "New Issue". Explain what you need and better yet, create the installation package of
1 | Timo Eronen | the software for CentOS. :)
||
2. Secondary method:
Send mail to fgi-admins@lists.utu.fi and explain what you need.
